Terms

Last updated: 2026-06-30

This is a starter template, not legal advice. Replace the placeholders and have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.

These template terms govern use of a zmlkit-based application — adapt them to your business, pricing, and jurisdiction before launch.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the service operated by [Company Name] ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Each app maintains separate accounts; the same email in a different app is a different account.

You must meet the minimum age required by your jurisdiction to use the service.

3. Credits, plans and payments

The service uses a credit system. You may purchase credit packs or subscribe to a plan. Prices and included credits are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, RevenueCat). Taxes may apply based on your location.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the policy shown at purchase and applicable law. See the dedicated Refund Policy page (linked in the site footer) for timelines and how to request one. Abuse of refunds (including repeated purchase-and-refund patterns) may result in account restrictions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: violating laws; infringing intellectual property; generating illegal, harmful, or abusive content; attempting to bypass security, rate limits, or credit accounting; or disrupting the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. AI-generated content

AI outputs may be inaccurate or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. Rights in inputs and outputs are subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers and applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its software and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks. You retain your rights in content you submit, subject to the licenses needed to operate the service.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or as required by law.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified through the service or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated terms. Questions: [legal@example.com]. Governing law: [Jurisdiction].
